Class prep and exam prep are not the same thing.

It’s not a good idea to focus all of your time on class prep. That might help you when you get called on, but it won’t necessarily impact your grade. Remember to distribute your study time across the key points on the map.

Yes, you want to be prepared for class. Class is way less useful if you haven’t read the cases carefully. But it’s important to realize that class prep is not exactly the same as exam prep. In particular, students who fear being called on can over do class prep and under do exam prep.
