Dr. Jill M. Fraley

Professor of Law, Washington and Lee University School of Law

Why did I write this book?

I saw law students frustrated and anxious—feeling beat down by the experience of law school. I saw too many students too stressed.

I believe in transparency in teaching. I believe in paying attention to the well-being of students.

I care about taking the guesswork out of grades. I care about students feeling in control of their learning experience. I care about managing anxiety and depression in law school. I care about making hard work matter more than luck.
